Prescription Assistance for Those in Need

At Pfizer, we believe that anyone prescribed a Pfizer medicine should have access to that medicine, and today, we provide that access through Pfizer Helpful Answers®—Pfizer’s family of patient assistance programs. It's designed to help eligible uninsured and underinsured patients access their Pfizer medicines for free or at a savings. Some programs also offer reimbursement support services for people with insurance.

How We’re Helping

Pfizer Helpful Answers has been working to help patients access their medicines for over 25 years.

Community Outreach

The first step in helping patients access their medicine is making sure they know that help is available. One of the most effective ways we communicate that message is through a range of local efforts in communities with a high rate of uninsured patients. By partnering with leading national, regional, and local community-based and patient-focused organizations, we're able to collectively raise awareness about Pfizer Helpful Answers. Below are some examples of our outreach efforts and our partners who help us to spread the word to those in need.

Bridging the Gap for Uninsured Hispanics

In 2007, Pfizer Helpful Answers established the Pfizer Promotores Outreach Program in response to the high rate of uninsured people within the Hispanic community. It connects eligible uninsured and underinsured Hispanics in hard-to-reach areas of the Southwest with critical health care resources to provide immediate help. Pfizer-trained promotores, or lay health educators, use their local insights and cultural expertise to spread the word about Pfizer Helpful Answers, encourage health education, and empower people in their communities to take control of their health.
