The positive impact of patient assistance

If you are uninsured, or underinsured, research has shown that enrolling in a patient assistance program
may encourage you to be more proactive in your health overall. In fact, in a survey of people enrolled
in a Pfizer Helpful Answers program, most said that patient assistance helped them to:

  • Feel less financial pressure
  • Lead less stressful lives
  • Be more optimistic about their health
  • Feel more in control of their lives

Those surveyed also visited their doctor more often for routine checkups and were more likely to take
the medicines their doctors prescribed. To see all of the survey’s key findings, an easy-to-read guide is provided for download here.
